After graduating, I commuted to GSU and majored in Kinesiology. After my dad passed away in 2002, I ran my first (and last) marathon to benefit the Stroke Association. While visiting my best friend and her family in Baton Rouge that following year and running in a race, I was able to make a connection with a company and set myself up for my internship for my senior year. I moved to Baton Rouge December 2003 and have been here ever since. I returned the following May to walk the field!
I just recently got married in March 2009 to the most wonderful man in the world.... I had to come all the way to Louisiana to find him! |
